Questions

When is the next Rust force wipe?

The force wipe arrives with the game update on the first Thursday of each month at 19:00 UK time. The countdown on this page gives the exact time remaining, and the force wipe countdown page explains what resets. Servers that follow the forced schedule will all restart within minutes of that update.

How often do Rust servers wipe between force wipes?

Each owner picks a rhythm: weekly, biweekly or monthly are the usual ones. The figures on this page count how many of the servers we track use each pattern, based on their recorded wipes rather than their descriptions. The heatmap is the practical version: it shows the day and hour each group tends to restart.

What is the best time to join a freshly wiped server?

Right after a wipe, while the population is climbing and the map is still empty. The heatmap shows the busiest wipe hours, and the servers wiping today list shows what has restarted in the last few hours. Wipes recorded this week are also listed by server on the wipe schedule by server page.
