Privacy policy

Rust Server Trends has no accounts, sets no cookies of its own and runs no tracking of any kind.

What we hold

There are no accounts here and nothing is asked of you to read the site. Our web server keeps standard access logs: IP address, requested page, browser type and time of the request. We keep these for a short period so the site stays up and so we can see which pages are used. Any theme preference, light or dark, is stored in your own browser through local storage and stays on your device.

Cloudflare

Every request passes through Cloudflare, which delivers the site and protects it. Cloudflare processes visitor IP addresses and may set a security cookie of its own when it checks for bots. That cookie is Cloudflare's, not ours.

Fonts and flags

The fonts are served from this site. The exception is the force wipe countdown page, whose country flags come from jsDelivr, a public code and font host. When your browser fetches that file, jsDelivr receives your IP address and browser details. No Google service runs here.

Cookies and analytics

We set no cookies of our own. There is no analytics script and no advertising tracker. No profile of you is built, and nothing about visitors is sold or shared, because we hold nothing to sell.

Server data

The figures on this site come from what Rust servers publish to the public server list and return to direct queries: names, player counts, settings, descriptions and images. None of it concerns individual players. Player counts are totals, not lists of who is online. The data is refreshed every five minutes; you can see what it covers on the server list and read more about the site.

Questions

Does Rust Server Trends use cookies?

The site sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare, which delivers and protects every request, may set a security cookie when it checks for bots, and that cookie belongs to Cloudflare rather than to us. A light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

What does Rust Server Trends record about visitors?

Our web server keeps standard access logs: IP address, the pages you open, browser type and the time of the request. These are held briefly to keep the site running and to see which pages get used. There is no analytics script and no advertising tracker, and no profile of you is built.

Is the player data about individual people?

No. The figures we publish come from what Rust servers make public or answer to direct queries, and they cover names, player counts, settings, descriptions and images. Counts are totals, not lists of who is on a server. None of the data concerns individual players.
